News on HS2 in Old Oak

In preparation for the construction of the Station on Old Oak Common Lane, we will be removing a section of vegetation within our site compound.

The removal of vegetation is necessary to enable the construction of the Great Western Main Line Station at Old Oak Common as part of the HS2 scheme. Work will be carried out on 5 and 6 September, with traffic management put in place on Old Oak Common Lane for approximately 10 hours.

The works will be divided into 2 stages as shown in the maps on the attached notice:

• Stage 1 will consist of a partial road closure on Old Oak Common Lane and a footway closure with pedestrian crossing control west bound.

• Stage 2 will consist of a partial road closure and a footway closure with pedestrian crossing control east bound.
