Further update on activity on Victoria Road, School Road and Chase Road

Following the last update published on 22 February, we are continuing to establish the Victoria Road Crossover Box site.

As you will be aware, hoarding is currently being erected around the perimeter of the site and work is continuing to install permanent timber hoarding. The School Road hoarding line is now nearing completion. To continue the installation along Victoria Road in particular, a footpath closure between what was Bethune Road and the end of the railway bridge by Sandflames restaurant, has been introduced. Pedestrians therefore are required to use the existing crossing points on Victoria Road to reach North Acton. The bus stop at this location has also been temporarily suspended. This footpath closure is also essential to ensuring the safe demolition of the Stobart building on Victoria Road. Further updates to follow on our upcoming demolition activities.

We are also undertaking utility investigations in this area which involves temporary lane closures on Victoria Road and Chase Road between March and May 2018

Please see the attached update notice that has been delivered to businesses and nearby residents and contains further details on progress of the hoarding installation, the footpath closure and the upcoming temporary lane closures and utility surveys.
