News on HS2 in Old Oak

Further to our update of 17 May 2019 we are continuing utility surveys on Victoria Road, Old Oak Lane and the Atlas Road roundabout, as detailed below. These investigations are critical to ensuring we work in both an informed and safe manner.

· Tuesday 11 June until late June 2019

We will be working within the southbound carriageway on Victoria Road, opposite the A&M building. To ensure the safety of the public and our staff these works will require a temporary bus stop suspension as well as the temporary suspension of parking bays in Shaftesbury Gardens.

· Tuesday 18 June until the end of June 2019

We will move further along the southbound carriageway of Victoria Road, outside the former John Lewis building. To ensure the safety of the public and our staff these works will require a temporary bus stop suspension as well as the temporary suspension of parking bays in the immediate area.

· Tuesday 23 July until September 2019

The utility investigations will take place on the Atlas Road roundabout and within the southbound carriageway of Old Oak Lane opposite the Old Oak Cafe.

These investigations will not impact any local utility supplies.

During these works there will be traffic management in place.

We have requested to relocate suspended bus stops where it is possible to do so.
