News on HS2 in Old Oak

We are working closely with our construction partners to review the works on all our construction sites in line with Government and Public Health England (PHE) advice on dealing with Covid-19. The Government’s current Covid-19 strategy makes clear that construction activity can continue as long as it complies with this guidance, which you can see by clicking here .

The below works are going ahead as our contractors are confident that they can operate in line with PHE and industry guidance, protecting our staff and the communities in which they are working.

Station hand over to BBVS

On 27 July our Old Oak Common Station construction partner, Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA (BBVS) joint venture will take full possession of the site from our enabling contractor, CSJV. for more information, please read the notice that has been delivered locally here .

Utility works update

Further to our notification of 3 July, CSJV will be continuing the existing utility diversion works along Victoria Road, Bethune Road, School Road, Chase Road and St Leonards. Phase one of the lane closure on Victoria Road is currently underway and will complete on 28 October 2020.
