News on HS2 in Old Oak

We will start work to assess the retaining wall along Old Oak Common Lane. We will be carrying out a survey of the wall using a flying drone on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August. In order to facilitate this we will also be carrying out some vegetation clearance on the wall.

Assessment work to be undertaken:

· A detailed topographical survey to ascertain the height and condition of the wall for each property

· Investigation to establish the structural form of the wall and its substructure

· Removal of vegetation to allow inspection of the wall.

We will be using a drone to fly above the retaining wall to capture images of its full length.
