Update to works at Old Oak Common Station site

Local residents will know that we have been breaking out the concrete base and demolishing the remaining train shed foundation at the station site. Although we are working within our noise and vibration limits, we have temporarily paused these works. We will now review the next stages of how we remove the concrete slabs closest to residential properties during the current pandemic. We will let you know in advance when we plan to restart these works.

All other current works on site, including demolishing the internal roads and footpaths, will continue to be carried out. These works are being undertaken within our core working hours of 08.00-18.00 .

We plan to start sheet piling week commencing 1 June. This is when a mechanical machine is used to press steel sheets into the ground. We will be sending a notification to residents which will give more information about these works.
