Update: Extension to School Road closure; site office and welfare block delivery at station site; vegetation clearance at Victoria Road sites and changes to manage Channel Gate Road

Update: School Road Closure extended to 3 September – Utilities diversion works

Our contractors, CSJV, are continuing the utilities diversion works on School Road. During the excavation, unknown and unmarked services were discovered which need to be investigated to check if they are live assets. In order to complete the work safely CSJV are changing the methods of working. As a result, they require more time to complete the works.

CSJV will be working two additional weekends works on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 and Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 August 2020 , to allow them to safely complete the utilities diversion on School Road. The working hours will be 8am to 6pm on Saturdays and 9am to 6pm on Sundays .

The current traffic management and parking bays suspension will remain in place, and access to businesses will be maintained. Please note pedestrians will be unaffected from these works.

Notice of site office and welfare delivery at Old Oak Common station site week of 7 September

During the week of 7 September, a two storey site office and welfare block will be delivered and fitted into place at the Old Oak Common station site. For more information about the delivery and setting up of the office, please read the notice here .

Update: vegetation clearance and hoarding changes at Victoria Road sites

Set up work continues at both the sites at Victoria Road, including vegetation clearance for around four weeks from late August. At the Crossover Box site the worksite hoarding will be moved to run alongside the Network Rail boundary line. For further information, you can read the notice here.

Update: changes to manage Channel Gate Road

Our contractors, SCS, will start work to install the pedestrian crossing at Goodhall Street and install a two metre high mesh fence along the road and around the green areas. Residents wishing to access the green areas will need to have an agreement in place with HS2.

Over the weekend of 5 and 6 September they will install a small section of 2.4 metre wooden hoarding and gate at the junction with Old Oak Lane. For more information about this you can read the notice here .
