News on HS2 in Old Oak

Wells House Road boundary wall activity

We will begin the first phase of remedial work to the Wells House Road boundary wall on 18 January 2021. We will be fixing trial anchors (rods which will be drilled through the wall) to improve stability. Works will be carried out along the Old Oak Common Lane side of the wall for approximately one month. In order to carry out this activity safely, we will be extending the existing northbound lane closure on Old Oak Common Lane up to the junction with Wells House Road.

Drainage surveys on Scrubs Lane

The drainage surveys that were due to take place on Scrubs Lane on 2 December 2020 have now been rescheduled to 13 Jan 2021 as they were unable to be carried out on the 2 December due to parked cars blocking access to the drainage. Temporary traffic management will be in place on 13 January to complete the surveys safely.
