Updates: Notice of vegetation clearance on 30 May and extended working hours at the Victoria Road Crossover Box site

We previously notified you in March 2021 about vegetation clearance works next to the Dudding Hill Bridge to enable the construction of the conveyor foundations. Unfortunately, due to proximity of the works to the Network Rail lines, we were not able to complete the works. The final works in the northern abutment area (in our Atlas Road site) have now been rescheduled to take place on Sunday 30 May between 9am to 4pm. These works must be carried out during a railway track possession when there are fewer trains running for safety reasons. For further information about these works please read the notice here .

Works are ongoing at the Victoria Road Crossover Box site to build a ventilation shaft and prepare for future construction of the crossover box below ground. As mentioned in our previous notification to you in April 2021, some of these works will need to take place during extended working hours. From early June 2021 until Spring 2022, we will be extending our working hours on the Victoria Road Crossover Box site. This means that we will initially be able to undertake work on site from 7am on Monday to 1pm on Saturday, which will then we extended to 6pm Saturdays from early August 2021. Please read here for further information .
