News on HS2 in Old Oak

Utility works in Atlas Road and Victoria Road

For four weeks starting on 16 November work will take place in Atlas Road to lay the electricity cables that will supply the power for the tunnel boring machines. The work will involve digging trenches to lay cables and install ducts.

During the week of 16 November drainage surveys of Thames Water main sewers will take place at the Atlas Road and Victoria Road roundabout. This work will occur at night with a temporary lane closure and four-way traffic lights. The work will last for around two to three nights.

UPDATE: Ground investigations at Old Oak Common Station site

We previously notified about ground investigation at the Old Oak Common Station site starting on 12 October. These works were rescheduled and will now start on 26 October. An updated notice can be found here .
