News on HS2 in Old Oak

Work on Wormwood Scrubs

HS2's station partner, BBVS, need to divert cables and pipes to the north and west of Wormwood Scrubs. They will carry out visual surveys from late October followed by topographical and utility surveys from November onwards. From December to early 2021 they will be setting up a site compound and clearing vegetation. For further information about this work, please read more about it here .

Haul road construction at Old Oak Common Station site

From 26 October, BBVS will begin to construct haul roads on the Old Oak Common Station site. The haul roads will extend from the site entrance on Old Oak Common Lane throughout the entire site to allow construction vehicles to access all areas. Further information can be found here .

Extension of works on Chase Road and Thames Water weekend sewer work on Victoria Road

Further to the notification of 16 July , HS2's early works contractor, CSJV, have to extend the utility diversion work until 13 November.

Thames Water will be undertaking sewer repair work this weekend from Friday 16 October to Sunday 18 October on Victoria Road. It will involve extending the existing lane closure by 50 metres.
